The wind was gusting down in the valley! Fortunately, the Honey Run Covered Bridge, just outside of Chico, CA, was sheltered from the wind in the canyon. Julia and Nick only had the slightest of a breeze greet them for their engagement session. The grass was a beautiful spring green color and people were gathering for barbecues in the warm sunshine. Julia and Nick could not have asked for a more beautiful day to capture their engagement pictures.
Nick had proposed to Julia the day before Thanksgiving 2017 on a hike to Burney Fall in Shasta County. Julia shared that Nick was acting weird as he failed to get his GoPro set up to take their picture on the hike. So, Nick asked a gentleman walking by to take their picture. Nick then asked the gentleman to scoot back a little more and take another picture to be sure he captured their full bodies. Nick then got down on one knee and proposed to Julia. They are so lucky to have pictures of this special moment on their lives. Nick had done his ring homework and he had made Julia a custom ring by Julianne Babb, in Chico, CA. This ring is gorgeous!
Julia and Nick, I am so excited for your wedding day in September! You two are beautiful inside and out. You both radiate love, joy, and spread happiness to others around you. I can tell how much you enjoy being with each other by how comfortable you are together and the way your eyes light up when you laugh together. You made my job incredibly easy; just by the way you look at each other. I hope you both enjoy this chapter in your lives as your prepare for your wedding day and the rest of your lives together.
