This senior session at California State University, Chico, was held on one of the rainiest days of the year!  Sean and Christina were great sports about it too, because these two came directly from class for their rainy senior session.  Due to their sports schedules, senior activities, and busy social calendar, we needed to capture this moment on this day; because this is one of the few times their schedules allowed them to do this together.  I cannot believe that they are high school seniors, because Sean was our ring bearer and Christina was one of our flower girls at our wedding 11 years ago!  Sean has already been accepted to Arizona State University in Tempe, AZ, and Christina is waiting to hear from the University of California schools this spring.  I am guessing that Sean is slightly loving that he has been accepted and his sister still has to wait to see what her future will hold. Update:  Christina will be attending University of California, Berkely in the fall!

Sean and Christina were amazing people to take into the rain.  They were so easy going about where to have their pictures taken.  We started under the covered awning at Laxson Auditorium; and then as the rain eased up, we ventured to the cloudy skies.  We did risk having the rain drench us a few times, but we were able to capture many pictures of each Sean and Christina solo and then plenty of them together too.  They were both easy to get genuine smiles from, but their sibling may deserve some credit for that too.

Sean and Christina, even though we had to endure the rain, paid parking in downtown Chico, and umbrellas, your senior pictures are wonderful.  Thank you for (carefully) rushing over after your last class and then having to stand in the rain.  Good luck in your future adventures with college, friends, and jobs.  Thank you for giving me the opportunity to hang out with you two after school, and I hope that you were able to enjoy either Hula’s or Aca Taco before you headed home.
