Worth the Wait
After quite the wait, this couple was in disbelief when they learned they were pregnant. This sweet ten-day-old baby girl even made her parents wait longer to meet her. She was delivered at 42 weeks and two days! She sure was worth the wait though! There is nothing quite like a sleeping baby on your chest.
When I arrived at the home of this new family of three, their doggy welcomed me right away. She was still adjusting to the new baby and her crying. The first day baby girl was brought home, their puppy dog cried every time baby girl cried. These already exhausted parents did not have to calm only one baby down, but two! Their puppy dog will sniff her new baby to say hello and then she tries to get some sleep.
These two new parents make a great team, and the daddy has already had some special bonding with his baby girl. He learned quickly that she enjoys to go out to their beautiful backyard and listen to the new world around her. He also already learned the car seat swing will calm his baby girl down quickly too. Mommy enjoys that he has the magic touch to calm down their new little lady.
Nights can be long, and these two understand that they will be limited. They have already learned to swap the baby cuddles in the middle of the night which allows the other one to catch up on some sleep. They have also snuck in some naps in the middle of the day. Everyone will be able to get more sleep soon. These two seem to have adjusted well to their new roles as parents. Parenthood looks good on them!
