Imagine packing up and moving while 40 weeks pregnant. Now, add in having your sweet baby girl arrive in the middle of the moving process! You have to stay a few nights in the hospital, but instead of getting the luxury of returning home, you have to stay in a hotel room for a few nights; before being able to move into your new home. Babies do not care when they arrive. It is all on their schedule. They like it this way after they are born as well! This is the story of a friend that welcomed me into their new home to capture their newest family member.
New Big Brother was happy to show me his room and his favorite books. He made sure to pull them out one by one to stack them all into a pile and later he took his favorites with him to his “cave” on his mommy’s bed. Big Brother loved hiding behind the pillows on his mommy’s bed and he was not very interested in taking a picture with him mommy. The moment that he was invited to take a picture with his new baby sister, he jumped at the opportunity. He is the best hugger and he will be a great protector. He takes his role as big brother seriously. Big Brother remained in his handsome outfit for my time in their home. As the session was wrapping up, Big Brother had spent some time creating bracelets and he gave his mommy all of them. To his approval, Mommy wore them for the remainder of our time together.
I love lifestyle sessions because I feel like I really get the opportunity to know each member of the family by the time our session is complete.
These are gorgeous!!
