Hello! I am Amber Neves Enos. Welcome to the online home of Amber Enos Photography! I am located in Chico, California. I was born and raised here. If we ever win the lottery, we will still live here. On my first car, I had a bumper sticker on the window of my 1982 Volkswagon Cabriolet that read "Chico is my Hometown". I was so proud of that sticker, and I still am so proud to call Chico my home. I love that my children get to grow up on the same bike paths, ice cream, and school district from my childhood. Fingers crossed they will get the opportunity to attend California State University, Chico.
First and foremost, I am a wife to Farmer J. We have three beautiful children, two stubborn doggies, and two very social, not typical cats. (They follow us on walks around the block and do not mind being held like babies. Adopt do not shop.) If you pull up our driveway, you will be greeted by this rowdy crew. I would love to add pigs and chickens to the crew one day, but Farmer J has to board the crazy train. We would be quite the sight!
Sometimes, the people in your life leave even when you are not ready for them to go. Capture the loves of your life on camera as often as you can. You never know when you will not be able to photograph them anymore. I have learned that it is important to love like there is no such thing as a broken heart. Love, be happy, and make the choice to stay positive.
From the lyrics of a favorite country song of mine, "Love Like Crazy", by Lee Brice:
I have loved prints since I was a little girl. My mom would turn in our film to Longs Drugs and we had to wait a week for it to be developed. After we picked it up, the envelope would sit on the dinner table until my dad came home from work. We would all sit in the living room and view the photos as my mom handed them out one by one. We would each view the photo and then pass them around our small circle. I still love prints today.
We have many wall galleries in our own home today. It is fun to see my big kids as babies. Twice a year, I make photo albums. Each Christmas, I give each child their own photo album. I do this mainly so they have photos of themselves, but also so they do not take my albums when they move out. My mom was such a good print and album example, I’m certain this is where my love for photography and prints has come from.
Do you have a habit of keeping your portraits on your computer and never printing them? Please contact me. I would love to print out your portraits and frame them for you.
I can create you a photo album for the coffee table from a portrait session too. I create personal albums for our home and they are looked at daily.
It is shame for these precious moments to go unseen.
Can I help you?

I love to get lost in a good book. The book is always better than the movie. I have never thought of myself as a history gal, but I love a book that is before my era. Please share your recommendations! My current read is "Before We Were Yours," by Lisa Wingate.
I have been in the same book club with the same ladies for about 6 years. Farmer J thinks it is more of a social hour than book club. This is my therapy. I have been introduced to my favorite books that I may have never encountered if these ladies did not introduce me to these great reads:
• Leaving Time, by Jodi Picolt
• The Husband's Secret, by Liane Moriarty
• The Rumor, by Elin Hilderbrand
• A Hundred Summers, by Beatriz Williams
