I had the honor of taking Jennifer and Travis’ family pictures two years ago on their property in the outskirts of Orland, California.  I was so excited when Jennifer contacted me again to update their family pictures.  This year Jennifer thought  Upper Bidwell Park was the perfect location to capture her beautiful family.  The clouds unexpectedly rolled in, and the wind picked up; but this did not put a damper on our time together.  You can view Jennifer and Travis’ family session from two years ago here.

When I thought back to two years ago, I remembered Jennifer and Travis’ daughters being confident and fun.  Fast forward to today and their daughters have now turned into young ladies who are even more gorgeous, confident, and full of joy!  The natural environment of Upper Bidwell Park complemented their whole family but especially allowed for their daughters’ beauty and personalities to shine.  When I had the girls get together for a sisters picture, they naturally got close and hugged.  There may have been some tickles, smiles, and laughter as well.  I helped to direct the girls with some posing, but it was not needed.  They knew exactly what worked for them, and that was better than anything I could provide.

Jennifer and Travis, I was so excited when I heard that you wanted to update your family pictures!  I cannot believe how much your daughters have grown up in two years!  Bidwell Park was a perfect location to capture your gorgeous family.  I loved that Travis could strike a pose as easily as your girls!  Your whole family made my job incredibly easy.  The most difficult task was deciding which pictures to use for your blog post, because there were too many amazing ones!  I hope you continue to print and frame your pictures on your walls.  I am so excited for you to see some of my many favorites from your family session.
