I am so excited to share the most photogenic veil of 2018! There were many veils throughout 2018 and some very close contenders! The most photogenic veil belonged to Janice. She married her husband, Jeremy, in October of 2018. Her mother surprised her with the veil of her dreams. Her Mother-In-Law also created the bouquet of her dreams. You can see Janice and Jeremy’s wedding here. The runner-up veil was Tiffany and Austin in Tahoe, California. You can view their wedding here.
Since most of my couples opt for a First Look, we have the option to take portraits of the veil during the extra portrait time. Some options to consider are if you want to do your First Look with or without the veil. If you want to do the First Look without the veil, your groom will see you in a whole new look when you wear your veil as you walk down the aisle. If you decide to save your veil for the ceremony, this will ensure that we capture some first pictures as husband and wife during the golden hour glow. Every bride deserves to have a “Veil Blowing in the Wind” shot of her own. My personal favorite is having you and your new husband cuddle up in your veil and enjoy this moment together on the most important day of your life.
I am so excited for the upcoming wedding season. 2019 already has some very tough competition for the most photogenic veil! Are you planning on a veil for your wedding day or did you have a veil on your wedding day? I had a veil that I absolutely loved! It was not as long as I wish it would have been if I were getting married today, but it had beautiful sparkles throughout. It is now located in the toy box, because Fish loves to get married!
