I love to have our family’s pictures taken!  I enjoy seeing updated pictures in frames throughout the house.  BUT, the wardrobe takes a lot of energy and planning.  Yogi has to be prepped that he only has to be dressed up for a short amount of time. (He brings a change of clothes in the car.)  Fish needs to be prepped that she has to smile at the camera and to take pictures without me by her side.  B is guaranteed to yawn during pictures,  so I need to prep myself for her multiple yawns.  She did not disappoint!  (In the first picture below she is just about to yawn!)  Farmer J is a wonderful sport, and he always goes above and beyond with his wardrobe.  He would love to be in jeans, but he knows what I love for family pictures

I first met Tiffany when we were both at the same location for portrait sessions one evening.  We exchanged names, started to follow each other on social media, and then we met for coffee to chat about photography.  We recently brought our husbands and children (six total!) to meet in the middle of a full bloom almond orchard as we each took family pictures for each other.  It may have looked slightly chaotic to an outsider looking in; but most importantly, it was fun!  You can view Tiffany’s family blog post here, and you can view our almond blossom pictures from last spring here.  Thank you Tiffany Doolittle Photography for these gorgeous pictures to last an eternity!

Tiffany, thank you so much for bringing your family out to join us for pictures.  I know it can be challenging to get your family prepared for pictures and then to take pictures as well.  Thank you for having your family join us to play in the almond orchard.

Farmer J, B, Yogi, and Fish, thank you so much for taking our one day off during the busy week to dress up and take pictures.  I finally have a picture with just Yogi, and we were nose to nose!  This made my night!  I always love to take pictures with Farmer J.  Thank you, Farmer J, for stepping it up and taking pictures again.  Our children will love seeing pictures of us together as they continue to grow older.  B, you are looking more and more like a teenager and not so much like a preteen anymore.  You now care what you wear and how you look.  I hope you continue to have the confidence you hold today.  Yogi, you are intense.  You only like doing what you want to do.  But you can be so sweet.  Thank you for taking pictures with our family; especially me.  It means the world to me.  Fish, you have graduated from a scary smile to a sweet and beautiful smile.  You look so similar to your siblings, and it makes me grin when you give me all of your facial expressions.  You are growing up too quickly.  I cannot believe my baby is so big.  I look forward to our thirteenth-anniversary pictures in June. (I already have it scheduled!)
