Chris and Abe took advantage of having their family all in Chico by taking family portraits.  Selecting a date when everyone was available can be a challenge.  Fortunately, the weather was beautiful in Chico, and this added to their enjoyable day that was full of laughter.  Their daughter, Abbie, did a wonderful job arranging the date and preparing everyone for their session.  I have worked with Abbie and her husband, Dan, a few times before their handsome little boy was born.  You can view some of Abbie and Dan’s previous sessions here: Pregnancy Announcement and Maternity.

Chris and Abe have a beautiful family, and we were able to capture wonderful group shots – Chris and Abe with their grandsons (my favorites!), individual families, and pictures of just the couples.  The three youngest men were a joy to work with, and they were all wonderful listeners.  I loved getting to see all of their personalities shine through in their pictures.  Chris brought an heirloom bench that used to be in her mother’s playhouse, and the boys got to take pictures with their grandparents on this special piece.  Chris also brought along a wagon for the boys to take a cousins picture.  I cannot select a true favorite picture, because these boys are all so handsome and happy!

Chris and Abe, I am so glad that I was able to meet you and your beautiful family.  You are so lucky to have a family that all gathers to be with you.  Your heirloom bench warms my heart to see your sweet loves on this special piece that was used by your mother.  Please enjoy this wonderful stage in your life with your beautiful babies and gorgeous grandsons.  Your grandsons are so lucky to grow up together and create memories that will last a lifetime.  I hope you smile every time you pass these pictures in your home.  I cannot wait to share some of my many favorites with you!
