This bride-to-be, Haylee, custom made her own floral bouquet!  This bouquet set the mood for their romantic sunset wildflower engagement session at Table Mountain.  The golden sunlight glowed through Haylee’s hair, the skirt of her dress, and this one of a kind bouquet.  The colors in Haylee and Derek’s wardrobe and the colors in the bouquet, complemented the wildflower setting perfectly!  If the florals for their wedding are half as beautiful as Haylee’s arrangement, their wedding at Centerville Estates will be gorgeous!  To view another wildflower engagement session at Table Mountain, please click here: Kaylin and Brandon.

Haylee and Derek met while Haylee was working at Chico Sports Club.  Derek would come to the gym, and he would try to talk to her.  Initially, Haylee dismissed Derek’s advances; because she thought that he was too young for her.  Fortunately, Derek persisted; and Haylee finally saw Derek’s charm and maturity. I am so happy Haylee said yes to a first date!

Haylee and Derek recently bought a house together.  Derek woke Haylee up too early the morning that he was going to ask for her hand in marriage.  She was not quite in the mood to be social and exchange in conversation yet.  Haylee’s mood changed quickly when she found an engagement ring in the sheets next to her.  Haylee said yes!

Haylee and Derek, I loved getting the opportunity to photograph your engagement session at Table Mountain!  Once we were ten minutes into the session, I knew that I was seeing the real couple that you two are.  I could see that you two are close and truly enjoy being around each other.  I loved that Derek would lightly brush his thumb against Haylee’s cheek when he went in for a kiss.  I could see the trust Haylee has for Derek when she looks into his eyes.  The laughter you two shared during your session is hard to fake.  I can see that you two have a strong bond.  And Derek was proud to hold the bouquet that Haylee created while he twirled her in the field of wildflowers!  I was so impressed when Derek allowed Haylee to steal the spotlight and shine during your session.   I cannot wait to see where your relationship will take you when you exchange wedding vows in April 2019!
