The early morning had freezing temperatures, but the sunshine warmed up and brightened the day for Kaitlen and Nick’s romantic maternity session. Upper Bidwell Park was buzzing with people who were enjoying the sunshine with their families and dogs. Mother Nature was just starting to show her signs of spring with some blooming blossoms, and the leaf buds were ready to make their appearance. The green grass and sunshine were certain to lift spirits and crave more springlike days.
Kaitlen and Nick are expecting their second child in April. Big Sister is not quite sure about all of this blue color that keeps appearing around the house. Big Sister and Baby Brother will be close in age and will probably also have the closest of relationships. Big Sister was so easy to work with and obviously so adorable! She did steal the spotlight away from her baby brother with her toothy grin and big, open mouth, wet kisses! We were still able to capture plenty of pictures of Kaitlen and her growing baby bump. Kaitlen and Nick were so easy to work with; and when they arrived dressed like they did, their pictures could not go wrong. Their session was filled with genuine smiles, laughters, and lots of love!
Kaitlen and Nick, you have a wonderful family that is growing to be better than ever! Thank you so much for allowing me to capture this beautiful moment in your lives. I hope your baby boy loves to look back on these pictures when he was in your tummy. When you two smile at each other, I can see the love you have for one another. You two make a great parenting team, and you will rock at being parents to two children. Kaitlen, pregnancy looks amazing on you! You are glowing, and you radiate joy when you smile. I cannot help but smile when I look at your pictures. I hope they bring a smile to your face when you remember this moment in time. Hugs!
