Marnette + Kevin Almond Blossoms | Family
An almond orchard that is in full bloom is a gorgeous view. Add in a handsome family dressed to the nines, and you have a picture perfect situation. The temperature continued to lower as the golden hour approached. Blankets and cuddles were involved between group pictures during this family portrait session in Chico, CA. The beautiful almond blossom petals had started to drop to the orchard floor. Even with a slight breeze and a chill in the air, this family’s joy and laughter could not be cooled down.
When the mother of these four beautiful children, Marnette, shared that her children would be dressed up in suits, ties, and dresses, I knew that we shared the same love for beautiful family pictures. We started with the group picture of all of the children on a bench. Marnette and her husband, Kevin, helped to keep everyone smiling especially their sweet two year-old. We all did some quacking, barking, extreme fake laughter, and countless sneezes to keep the youngest smiling throughout their session. This family’s love for each other is evident through each of their desires to hold their baby sister, willingness to snuggle up on the bench, and wrap their arms around each other for a picture.
Marnette and Kevin, your family is absolutely beautiful inside and out! I loved getting to spend some time with your family and to have the opportunity to witness your children’s love for one another. You selected a beautiful orchard to capture your children’s spring portraits, and you timed the full bloom perfectly. We were lucky to beat the freezing temperatures! I hope a smile spreads across your face every single time when you look back on these pictures and you see your beautiful babies at this stage in their lives.
