Kristi + Kyle Almond Blossoms | Family
The full bloom of almond blossoms are about as close as Chico, California, gets to snow. There are certain areas around town that are white in color. This family portrait session was no different. The almond blossom petals glistened with sunlight as the bees were busy pollinating the almond trees. The sweet aroma of the almond blossoms filled the air, and the sunlight had a beautiful golden glow that glittered throughout this family’s portrait session.
Kristi and Kyle stepped out of their car in the perfect neutral wardrobe colors to complement the almond orchard and the white blossoms. The blues in Kristi’s dress also brought out the blue in their babies’ beautiful eyes. We were able to capture some family pictures that were full of joy and laughter. The children were able to take a break, explore, and check out the rows of the orchard as we captured some individual pictures and then pictures of the children with Kristi and Kyle. We had a very adventurous session full of “Ice Ninja Challenges”, “Blue Ninja Kicks”, and ninja-like poses. We also captured some cuddles, kisses, and lots of love.
Kristi and Kyle, it is always wonderful to get the opportunity to spend some time with your family. The almond orchard setting made your session that much more special. The tickles and laughter from your children were my highlights from your session. I loved watching your children’s eyes sparkle with happiness when it was their turn to be tickled; even though they tried so hard not to laugh! I love watching your children grow up, and we are so lucky to not only have your family in Chico but in the neighborhood! I hope these pictures brighten up the walls in your new home and bring smiles to your faces.
